Way to take action, Joanie! You’re on the right track.

It seems like every time I share my travel blog the comment gets deleted, but you can find it if you google landingstanding πŸ™‚

It’s become more of a food blog focusing on Portland since we moved here last here… but we just got back from Colombia so I need to at least add an update for that!

Thanks so much Tony! I emailed IS a few days ago but I haven’t heard back. Was just enquiring about some one on one consultations with you? πŸ™‚

Glad to hear you have tried Facebook ads, Abra. They definitely can take some testing, but using retargeting ads for sales offers can be highly effective. For cold traffic, I would recommend ads promoting free content or an opt-in offer.

If you try retargeting with your next open enrollment, I would love to hear how it goes!

Great takeaway, Lisa! Boosting a post can be effective if you have a specific goal in mind for it. For example, if you had a cookbook all about healthy snacks and had an article about a recipe that was popular. You can promote that post to your audience with a boosted post and then using the FB pixel, retarget everyone who visits that recipe with an offer to buy the cookbook.

Thanks for listening!

Definitely set that up, April! If you have had great organic reach, you can really magnify it with FB ads. Just take what was working organically and promote it to your target audience.

Would love to hear how your ebook promotion goes!

Hi Celeste – Great insights!

When you have the pixel placed and the cookies collecting data, you’ll be in great shape. That way if you boost a post that directs back to your own content, you can advertise something directly to those people.

Boosting a post is neither good nor bad – you just need to have a strategy in place first. If promoting your band to your target audience can create a solid return for you, then go for it!

You got it, Lindsay! Get that pixel placed. That way you can leverage all of that hard organic traffic work when you’re ready to try ads.

Biggest thing you can do is just start – and figure it out as you go. That’s what we all do anyways! Sounds like you’re on the right track πŸ™‚
