“She is such a great example of the 1% infinity concept.”

Yes! So true.

I found it fascinating how a change in the google algorithm affected Elise’s traffic. I heard of this happening, but what Elise said really made me understand. I found Elise’s site years ago through google. It’s very interesting to hear how the big blogs work and what kind of issues they experience. It’s so important to continuously evolve, and it’s quite intimidating to people who are just getting started (like me – ha).

She is such a great example of the 1% infinity concept. I love what she said about finding joy in the process. It all comes back to that joy because building an audience (especially in an already crowded space like food blogging) can be really difficult and take a long time. If you aren’t happy doing it, you’ll burn out pretty fast.

Sometimes as baby bloggers, we feel like we need to be great at everything (Pinterest! SEO! Photography! ALL the things!)…right from day 1, or even year 1. And that is (1) not fun and (2) not even possible!

Side note to Bjork – I am late to the podcast party. So I have been catching up on episodes. Great job! Lots of valuable content.
