The basic ground rules for discussions in the Food Blogger Pro Community are very simple, yet very important: be polite, try your best to genuinely help those in need, don’t break the law and don’t post any type of advertising or affiliate links.

By using this forum, you further agree to abide by Food Blogger Pro’s Terms and Services. Food Blogger Pro assumes members have read all of the guidelines. We will not take ignorance as an excuse for not following the rules, policies, and guidelines outlined here and in the forum specific rules.

Please note: Your posts in the Food Blogger Pro Community will be public to the community. Your text will be available to anyone with an internet connection and a Food Blogger Pro membership.

Specific Rules and Guidelines

We will enforce the policies outlined here in order to maintain a positive and safe experience for other members. We reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. Please contact us if you do not understand any of the guidelines or policies outlined below.

Forum Rules:

  • The “be polite” rule is very important to us. Rude or demeaning comments will not be tolerated.
  • Members are not allowed to use the forum to contact anyone to promote a product or service.
  • Members may recommend products or services, but they cannot personally benefit from these recommendations.
  • Members are responsible for any content created with their account.
  • Members may not share account login with anyone.
  • Emojis are permitted in the forum, and emoji use should be tasteful and respectful.
  • All posts, titles, signatures, and attachments are limited to the English language.
  • Members may not post affiliate links anywhere on the forum. Advertisements can only be posted in the Intros & Promos forum.
  • Posting new duplicate threads or posts with the intention of gaining exposure is prohibited.
  • Members may not post words or URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters.
  • Members may not recommend, praise, or belittle products or services without first hand experience of those products or services.
  • Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and the account disabled.
  • Public posts debating these rules and/or moderators’ enforcement of such, will be removed.

Profile Picture and Signature Rules

Your username and signature options are edited via your Profile.

You can edit or update these fields by going to Account > Update Your Profile. Profile pictures are shown when commenting on the blog or posting in the forum. Signatures are attached to the end of your posts in the Community section of Food Blogger Pro.

Avatars should be updated via Gravatar; you can reference this support document for more information.

Signature Rules:

  • Must be set up in your profile (not manually added to your messages).
  • May not contain any affiliate links or advertising.
  • May contain a maximum of two emojis. Emoji use should be tasteful and respectful.
  • May include three clickable links.
  • Links must point to a personal website or personal social media sites.
  • May include two colors, plus black.
 Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal.
  • May not contain links to other threads, posts, or forums.
  • Please keep special characters to a minimum.
  • You cannot sell or rent your signature area.
  • Any signature that is offensive or insulting to FBP members or staff is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason.

Suspension of membership is a consequence of not adhering to these guidelines.
