Hey Audrey! I’ve never used SeedProd, so I’m not sure how it would affect your site’s performance, but you never really know with page builders. I totally get the concern here! They do offer a money-back guarantee if you end up testing it out and find it’s not a good fit for you, so it might be worth a shot.

I found another integration called Leadpages that also offers a way to create a squeeze page for your WordPress site, but it’s quite expensive. 😬 This one, at least, doesn’t seem to be a page builder that takes over the entire site… so there’s that!

Thanks for the additional information! That’s super helpful. I was reading on the SeedProd page, that they call themselves a pagebuilder. Do you know if using this plugin and their pages will slow down my site like other pagebuilders are known to do, like Elementor or Divi?

I would not want to use a tool/pagebuilder for an LP tool if it means it will slow down my site, etc. I actually recently switched from elementor to Feast because of this reason.

It looks like they actually dropped support for landing pages across all of their themes — bummer! As for creating a squeeze page in WordPress, I’ve seen a few resources point to the SeedProd plugin. Check out this article from WP Beginner for a full walkthrough of how to set this up! The templates look pretty neat, but do note that it is a paid plugin; the cheapest plan is $39.50 a year. Might be worth the investment if you see a high conversion rate with it, though!

Ok thanks for the additional information! I have the feast plugin and I’m using the foodie pro theme. Do you know if they offer landing page feature, or would I have to ask them?

I’ve also noticed the copy is very different on food blog product pages. It’s more of a sales page. I think they may call the type of landing page a squeeze page or something, because it’s heavy on conversion copywriting, and encourages readers to take the purchase action. Do you have any resources on how to create these types of pages? Besides the LP builder, but any training on how to craft this kind of content?

Hey Audrey! The updated course does not mention MailerLite (good to know you’re looking for this, though!), but we (the FBP team) use and love ConvertKit for our email broadcasts and sequences. I think it boils down to personal preference, but if you want to try out ConvertKit, you might want to check out their Newsletter plan, which allows you to manage up to 10,000 subscribers for free!
