Hey Holly!

Amazon often provides multiple sizes of product images, and sometimes the size you copy can vary. For example, one image might be a larger file size (e.g., 1200x1200px) while another is smaller (e.g., 600x600px). Even if you’ve set a uniform size in Tasty Links, if Amazon provides different sizes for each product image, you’ll see inconsistencies.

When you copy the image URL, try to manually select the image size that you want from Amazon (if it offers different options). Make sure to pick a consistent size for all product images (e.g., 600x600px for all).

Let me know if that works!

Hello, I am a relatively new blogger and I use WP Tasty Links to add Amazon Affiliate links to my site. When I add a picture of the item associated with the link (a copy of the image address from Amazon), the picture sizes are inconsistent on my site. I have tried to make all of the image sizes the same by updating the WP Tasty Links image size in the provided area; however, this does not seem to work. Some pictures are huge and others smaller. Is there a recommendation or trick to this from Food Blogger Pro?

Hey Sireesha! This sounds like such a delicious juice combo. My first thought is to remove the plastic straw and add a garnish to the top of the glass! 🍹

It also might be worth shooting it from a 3/4 angle or a straight-on angle to give your audience a more holistic view of the juice. Playing around with simple props like kitchen towels or even flowers can also help take your photos to the next level! I found a couple of blog posts about photographing drinks that may be of interest to you as well (here and here).

I hope that helps!

Hi, Newbie blogger here – shot this picture with my iPhone and edited with Lightroom. Any thoughts on how to improve a juicing picture?

Also, do you re-use the same images on social such as pinterest and fb? Feedback would be great!

Updated via Lightroom. I used a different food filter on the original but switched to a lighter filter and up the brightness.

Hey Keanu—

Yum! Crème brûlée is one of my favorite desserts. I’m also of the mind that iPhone/smartphone photography can deliver results just as stunning as DSLR cameras 📷

I love all of these process shots! Maybe you could include one of you pouring the cream into the egg mixture to temper it or one where you’re whisking the egg mixture? Action shots can be really effective in process photos!

The photos of the finished product appear to be darker than the process shots—is there any way you can give the lighting a bit of a boost there? Even upping the brightness/exposure just a tiny bit while editing can make a big difference!

I think it could also be fun to include a shot where you’re using the spoon to crack the crème brûlée open. Who doesn’t love a good crème brûlée crack?!

Officially craving crème brûlée! 😋
